The Anna Progress was founded by Brayden Heath during his senior year at Anna High School. Heath wanted to build something to help fill the ever-growing information deficit made untenable by our community losing its local newspaper.

The goal of this publication is to provide information to our community, because freedom begins with a well-informed populace. This platform is used to bridge community divides and educate all those who want to know what is happening in their community without viewing it through the lens of an agenda.

Journalism is necessary for society to function with transparency, accountability, education, and a healthy, involved community.
