Anna, TX — Triple-digit temperatures may finally be out of Anna’s seven-day forecast, but summer is not going quietly as August gives way to September.
Sunday is forecast to be sunny and hot with a high near 99 degrees. South winds of 5 to 15 mph are expected during the day before mostly clear skies Sunday night, when temperatures are forecast to fall to around 77.
Monday will remain sunny with a high near 98 degrees, followed by another mostly clear night with a low around 77. Similar conditions are expected Tuesday, with sunny skies, a high near 97 and an overnight low around 76.
Wednesday is also forecast to reach 97 degrees before temperatures climb slightly heading into the latter half of the week. Thursday is expected to reach 98 degrees, while Friday could again approach the century mark with a high near 99.
Saturday is forecast to close out the week with another sunny and hot day and a high near 98 degrees. Unlike recent forecasts, no chances for showers or thunderstorms currently appear anywhere in the seven-day outlook.
Despite the absence of triple-digit highs, little substantial relief from the summer heat is expected. Every afternoon through Saturday is forecast to reach at least 97 degrees, while overnight lows remain mostly in the upper 70s.
