Anna, TX — Cooler temperatures and mostly sunny skies are expected across Anna this week, with overnight lows falling into the upper 50s as more fall-like weather settles into North Texas.
Sunday begins with a slight chance of rain before conditions dry out. There is a 20% chance of showers before 10 a.m., followed by partly sunny skies and a high near 81 degrees. North-northeast winds of 10 to 15 mph could gust as high as 20 mph. Skies are expected to clear Sunday night as temperatures fall to around 62.
Monday will be sunny with a high near 82 degrees. Clear skies Monday night will allow temperatures to drop to around 57, marking one of the coolest overnight lows in recent weeks.
Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to bring nearly identical conditions, with sunny skies and highs near 82 degrees both days. Overnight lows will remain cool, falling to around 57 Tuesday night and 58 Wednesday night.
Temperatures will begin climbing slightly Thursday, with sunny skies and a high near 84 degrees. Thursday night will remain mostly clear with a low around 61.
Friday is expected to be the warmest day of the workweek, reaching around 88 degrees under sunny skies. The overnight low will rise to around 65.
Another slight rain chance enters the forecast Saturday. There is currently a 20% chance of showers, though otherwise sunny conditions are expected with a high near 88 degrees. The overnight low is expected to fall to around 59.
Despite the late-week warming trend, temperatures will remain well below the triple-digit heat Anna experienced through portions of September, while multiple nights in the upper 50s offer another sign of the seasonal transition.
